Fried chicken is a simple yet tasty treat for all the chicken lovers. The fried chicken pieces coated with a very few basic masala ingredients is seriously a drool-worthy.
We all love to eat the KFC’s, chicken kebab and other fried chicken from the local eateries. However, it is sometimes a pleasure to prepare these sort of recipes at home, as it will be hygienic, healthy and free from adulteration.

Each and every part of the country has its own variation of authentic chicken recipes, which is so very true to the Indian cuisine as well, yet unbelievably unique preparation from all the spheres. Familiar spices, flavors to the exact food recipes are brought together in unfamiliar ways to create dishes that are totally different from each and every recipe. As far as for me, anything that requires less time for preparation along with a good taste is always a good dish.

The truth is that any good recipe, especially that is related to a chicken recipe always make a great side dish. And that’s the very reason why I tried to make this chicken recipe too easy to follow. It is a delicious option for an evening treat, for a home party etc.

This Fried Chicken recipe is obviously an authentic version of all the chicken fried combos. I have not used too many masalas in it, also there are no spices that are added in plenty, so I’m sure this recipe would be ideal for the tender taste buds, especially the toddlers who have just begun to munch the meat. Children would love to eat this fried chicken, and of course, you need no much time for the preparation, as and when they would crave for fried chickens you would just need the time for marination and that's it, you are ready to fry the chicken pieces.

There are different processes to prepare fried chicken in most of the places. This recipe that I bring to you is something very simple and easy to prepare, as it doesn’t create a lot of mess around. So try it by yourself and help me with your feedback.

[Non-Veg]

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 25 minutes

Serves: 2
Measuring Items: Tablespoon, 1 cup=250 ml

Ingredients:
  1. Chicken- 500 grams (without skin)
  2. Eggs- 3
  3. Turmeric powder- 1 tbsp
  4. Mirchi powder- 1 tbsp
  5. Salt- for taste
  6. Corn flour- 1 cup
  7. All purpose flour (Maida) – 1½ cup
  8. Soy sauce- 2 tbsp
Method:
  1. Wash the chicken pieces properly.
  2. Marinate the chicken pieces with all the ingredients (no need to add water).
  3. Keep the marinated chicken ready for at least 1 hour or so. 
  4. Do not keep the marinated chicken in the refrigerator, keep in the normal room temperature as this will absorb the masala into the chicken pieces and make it much softer.
  5. Heat oil in a cooking wok, once the oil is hot enough and starts leaving fumes, slowly start putting the chicken pieces and fry them in a medium flame.
  6. Deep fry the chicken pieces.
  7. That's it fried chicken are ready to be served.
Garnish with sliced onions, cucumber, coriander leaves and enjoy the treat at home. Enjoy cooking, serving and eating!!
